Our Mission
To support, train, and advocate for Houston ISD Nutrition Services employees so they can deliver the highest quality nutrition program to the children of Houston.

A nutrition workforce that is empowered, well-trained, recognized, and proud of the essential role we play in student success.
TASN Affiliation
HSNA is a local chapter of the Texas Association for School Nutrition (TASN), connecting our members to a statewide network of school nutrition professionals, advocacy efforts, and continuing education opportunities.
Chapter History
Founded in July 2026 by Houston ISD Nutrition Services employees, HSNA was created to give frontline staff a stronger voice, better access to training, and a stronger sense of community. Today the chapter continues to grow.
