SNACKS Scholarship

The SNACKS Scholarship provides financial support to HSNA members pursuing their high school diploma or GED. We believe every member deserves the opportunity to complete their education and open new doors in their career and life.

Eligibility

  • Active HSNA member in good standing
  • Current Houston ISD Nutrition Services employee
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll in HISD SNACKS program
  • Minimum 2 concurrent school years of HISD Nutrition Services employment.

Application Process

  1. Complete the scholarship application form
  2. Submit a short personal statement (200 words)
  3. Include your operations coordinator. (their recommendation is required.)
  4. Submit by the published deadline
Applications open in September.
Awarded each spring.
